SHIPPING AND PROCESSING

 

How do I place an order?  

You can place your order on our website, contact us through the website or you can send an email requesting that we contact you.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Because our products are made fresh-to-order, they are processed and shipped within 2-7 business days. The arrival date depends on your selected method of shipping.

May I cancel my order? Refunds?

Due to the nature of our product returns cannot be accepted.  All sales are final.

What shipping method should I select during the summer?

When placing an order during the summer months (May 15 - Sept 15), or if you are shipping to warm climates (75 degrees or above) we recommend all orders should be shipped with cold packs. During these months, we charge an additional $5.00 to cover the extra packaging costs.

Salt City Pretzel Sweets can not be responsible for shipments where a client chooses not to purchase a recommended cold pack.

Settling of product and slight discoloration may occur during transit due to temperature changes. Product taste or quality is not affected.

Where do you ship?

We ship anywhere in the continental United States via USPS Priority Mail.

If sending your packages to hospitals, colleges, or any organization which have mailing rooms or receiving docks, some delays may occur in these situations, so you may need to plan for extra time. When do you ship?

We prefer to ship our products during the first half of the week in order to avoid weekend transit or having our scrumptious treats sitting in warehouses or on trucks during weekends.

Do you provide local deliveries?

If you live in the Central New York area, we may be able to help you save on delivery costs. Please contact us before placing your order to learn more!

INGREDIENTS & STORAGE

 

I have common food allergies. Should I be concerned?

All of our products are produced alongside common allergens and may contain eggs, wheat, milk, soy, peanuts, almonds, walnuts, pecans, and/or fragments of other tree nuts through cross contamination. Although we would hate to not have you as a customer, your health is more important! Please consume responsibly.

How should I store my pretzels?

To maintain freshness, store your pretzels in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.

What is the shelf life of your products?

Our products are made fresh-to-order. Every product is packaged, sealed, and dated for freshness.  Our chocolate pretzels typically remain fresh for 3 months if they are kept sealed. Once opened, we suggest you store uneaten portions in an airtight bag or container.

Do your products need to be refrigerated?

No, they do not. We use tempered chocolate, which can be stored just like a candy bar. If you don’t finish your chocolate pretzels (is that possible?) as soon as you open the package, we suggest that you store the remainder in a cool, dry place.

How can I pay?

We use PayPal as our payment processor. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance.

Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy?

Yes.

Is your site secure?

Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. We never see your credit card number; PayPal tells us that you've paid and we send your shipment. We receive your money through PayPal later.
